We offer a safe, caring & friendly environment for children enrolled at MSJ, before the school day.

A Warm Welcome

Every morning, staff will be there to help serve breakfast as well as organise games and activities. Children in Foundation 2 to Year 6 can arrive at school from 07:50am for a healthy breakfast. All children  MUST be dropped off by an adult. 

 

A Healthy Start

Children who eat breakfast concentrate and perform better during the morning than children who skip breakfast.

 

Our Menu

The children will be able to select from a variety of cereals, bagels, and toast.

Board Games, Hall games, Books, Arts and crafts, Puzzles.

Booking a place at Breakfast Club

Please contact school to book a place for your child. Due to the number of allocated places and ensuring safe levels of staffing, we cannot accept drop-ins. The price per session is £3 (£15 per week).​

After-School Childcare

This service is available to all enrolled full-time children (FS2-Y6) and is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and enjoyable environment for your child after the school day ends. The service aims to offer high-quality care while supporting your family’s needs.

Overview:
Our after-school childcare service will run from 3:15 PM to 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday, and 3:15 PM to 4:45 PM on Fridays. The sessions will offer a variety of activities designed to support your child’s development, including creative activities and quiet time to relax, read and share in conversation with other children from across our school.

What We Offer:

• Safe, supervised care with experienced and qualified staff, trained in safeguarding, first aid, and food hygiene.

• A variety of activities that will engage your child’s imagination and social skills.

• A healthy snack for all children, to ensure they have the energy to enjoy their time at the program.

 

Cost and Payments:
The cost of the after-school childcare is £8.00 per session. Payments must be made in advance, and we ask that all fees be settled via Arbor, our online payment system.

Please note, we require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. We understand that illness can be unexpected, and you will be charged for the first day of illness, after which the place should be cancelled.

Booking and Space Availability:
Spaces for after-school childcare are limited to 20 children per session. To ensure your child’s place, please complete the booking form and sign our After-School Childcare Policy, available from the school office.

Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
